Wolf Moon 2025- More Special Than you think!

So here we are with the full Moon in January 2025. Placed in the constellation of Cancer, it brings with it energies which are particularly helpful for releasing issues which are associated with the zodiac sign of Cancer. Because Cancer is on a general platform associated with relationships, nurturing and emotions the issues in question are related to these aspects of our lives. Because we’re also dealing with stronger feminine energies, one may particularly find issues to do with our mothers, our motherly instincts (or lack of) and how related to motherly figures. It is also the sign where the moon is in its ‘home ground’ so we may find our intuition is particularly awakened or stronger at this time. As the moon is also visible in daylight hours at this time, it is giving its presence felt within what is normally just the arena of the sun and so the significance of this also emphasises the importance of the energies it is bringing us. Being compassionate and empathetic whilst also being strong and tenacious.

            Historically, this Moon is also happening at an auspicious time in that it is occurring around the same time when the energies of the line up of Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Saturn. You see, the sky is like a notice board from the Divine. When looking at the night sky. It’s worth remembering that spirit works on numerous levels all at once, and whilst knowing about the astrological placements and energies of the celestial clock face (the sky), sometimes the messages are quite visually prominent too.

            Let us consider, for a moment, the significance of the line up. We have Jupiter- bringing its energies of benevolence, betterment and abundance. Then there’s Saturn, the great ‘Teacher’ with energies of structural stability, anchoring that which we’ve learned. Put them together and what do you get? For the betterment of you (or society), this …. (whatever it is)… is being anchored. We’ve already had Uranus and Pluto begin their upheaval and dramatic overhauling but at this time the Universe is presenting Venus and Mars together in this message. Venus and Mars, remember ‘Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus’? Both sides of the coin are represented, whether it’s feminine and masculine or Love and War, passive and aggressive, or and action the message is about BALANCE and a reckoning out. Balancing out these extremes in order to bring in a new, improved way of being.

            So back to the Moon. We have a Moon which at this point is presenting energies to help us release and at a time when there’s a great planetary message of balancing out aspects of Mars and Venus. This amps up the energies for releasing toxic relationships and the patterns we may have been stuck in that render us to be ruled by our emotions to an extent that it is out of balance and causing us harm. We’re being invited to bring in a new, better way of being which is emotionally balanced. Equal amounts of give and take, equal amounts of love and kindness for ourself and others. The intuition of the Moon and softness of the feminine energies helping us to be insightful with the feelings of others. However, this also means over giving must go! You heard it, you can demonstrate love and care for another without sacrificing your own wellbeing and now’s the time to get it sorted once and for all. If you’re involved in a relationship which is constantly draining you or worse, know that the universe is giving you an opportunity to detach from it now, more than ever before. Jupiter is the bringer of luck also so whilst you’re taking action to release, know that you have those energies and the supportive energies of Venus backing you up at this time. For the better!
